A vacate clean from a quality cleaning company will come with a meaningful Bond Back Guarantee (BBG). As the name suggests, a BBG means all items included in the quote are provided with a quality guaranteed.

Most vacate cleans (aka end-of-lease, aka bond cleans) from a quality cleaning company come with a meaningful Bond Back Guarantee (BBG).

As the name suggests, a vacate clean with a BBG means all items included in the quote are guaranteed.

This means, if the relevant property manager is unhappy with any aspect of the cleaning for those items which were included in the approved quote, the cleaners will return to make good such items free of charge, such that the property manager accepts the cleaning and withholds no bond due to those items.

Obviously, items not included in the quote are not included in the guarantee. This sometimes, but not often, happens with such items as cleaning of walls and doors, cleaning of blinds and curtains, cleaning of floor tile grout, and similar items.

Such cases where the property manager is unhappy with something about the vacate clean but the items about which they are unhappy were not included in the quote, can be handled in either of two ways. The tenant can arrange for the rectification themselves or the tenant can request their cleaners to quote them, to rectify these items.

Standard Fenix vacate cleaning includes a once-over dusting of blinds / curtains. For detailed cleaning of blinds / curtains, a separate quote can be arranged.

Fenix will make every reasonable attempt to carry out cleaning in a professional and efficient manner, however sometimes certain stains can’t be removed e.g., some types of stains from carpets, some types of stains from curtains and blinds, and mould from grout when it has permeated the surface.

It should be remembered that a vacate clean is a detailed cleaning of the property it is not a restoration or replacement of old for new. Hence, tenants, property managers and owners are all encourage to apply the reasonableness test and don’t expect something you have not paid for.

A MEANINGFUL BBG WILL PROVIDE CONFIDENCE AND FINANCIAL PEACE OF MIND TO THE TENANT, SAFE IN THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY WON’T BE OUT OF POCKET BECAUSE A POOR CLEANING JOB DID NOT SATISFY THEIR AGENT SUFFICIENTLY TO RETURN SOME OR ALL OF THEIR BOND.
